STILL HERE BASKETBALL PRESENTS $5,845 TO MASON PARK COMMUNITY CENTER'S YOUTH BASKETBALL PROGRAM

Representatives from Still Here Basketball, Inc. recently presented $5,845 to the youth basketball program at Mason Park Community Center. Support was made possible as the result of a 12-day fundraiser. Every cent of what was raised went directly to Mason Park Community Center. There were no administrative or other costs deducted.

Additionally, all Mason Park basketball players received team hoodies sponsored by Still Here Basketball.

Mason Park Community Center in Akron, Ohio supports many young basketball players --- a high percentage of whom come from families below the poverty level. The program puts an emphasis on good sportsmanship, positive community involvement, and sustained academic achievement. In recent years city and corporate funding supporting Mason Park's basketball programs has diminished or has been discontinued.
