WHAT YOUR SUPPORT MEANS
Support for Still Here helps us make an impact through our giving areas including Pay-to-Play direct assistance, program grants and our benevolent fund. We invest in proven programs who demonstrate value through their program's impact in our community, sustainable business practices, and fiscal responsibility.
We are proud to have given over $50,000 in support and our donors ensure we can continue supporting causes through tax-deductible gifts or by joining us at our fundraising events.

We are committed to continuing our support of several nonprofits despite new challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. This year's charitable partners include:
Empower Sports is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to providing sports and exercise programs for children and adults with various physical and cognitive disabilities and additional programs for typically-developing kids. Still Here is proud to be a sponsor of Empower Sports' basketball leagues and special basketball-specific events such as the Larry Nance, Jr. summer workshops.
MCPAL is a youth crime prevention program that utilizes educational, athletic and recreational activities to create trust and understanding between police officers and youth by bringing them together in a fun and active environment. Medina County police departments are working with the Medina County Juvenile Court, area school districts, local businesses and the community to help reach all area youth and create a successful program. Still Here is privileged to sponsor MCPAL basketball programs and has worked in tandem with MCPAL to present innovative Basketball & Skills workshops guided by coach and local basketball legend: Tony Stockman.
The Adaptive Sports Program of Ohio (ASPO) is a nonprofit organization established to promote the health and wellness of individuals with physical disabilities. ASPO provides competitive and recreational adaptive sport opportunities throughout Ohio. For years, Still Here has sponsored ASPO's basketball activities including their growing wheelchair basketball program.
Still Here has assisted and plan continuing support to Mason Park basketball programs. These initiatives encompass many young ballplayers from families below the poverty level. Mason Park basketball programs feature sports but also good citizenship and an insistence on academic achievement. Participants in basketball teams also are given nourishing meals.
Still Here works with area athletic directors and coaches to help young basketball players whose families have financial constraints and are unable to make pay-for-play requirements. Find the support you need to get on the court!
"Still Here is an organization that provides so many opportunities to student athletes. Because of its generosity, student athletes have a chance to compete, learn time management skills, and develop a sound work ethic- all skills necessary to become a great teammate. The chance to practice these life skills via athletics impacts them positively for a lifetime. We are so grateful for Still Here and all of the help they provide to young men and women in our area."
Tom Harrington, Athletic Director, Buckeye High School
"Thanks so much for the workshop last Friday. My daughter really enjoyed it! It was a pleasure to watch as well :-) Keep up the great work with our students!"

"Still Here Basketball has been an invaluable partner in helping us reach more athletes with special needs. Their grants enable us to continue offering more programs every year while also maintaining our low-to-no cost programs fee structure. Without the continued generosity of Still Here Basketball our program would be significantly smaller than it is today.
